Content: Writing Essential (Sigh) I’m disillusioned Yet cannot talk Aimlessly trying to focus excess energy on this and that Unable to satisfy my restlessness Antsy Pacing Wandering from room to room -Open My thoughts are rampart Frantic Clamoring Chaotic Streaming into becoming madness Reach for pen and pad SIGH!!!!! The page listens As the pen translates Random Meaningful Unnecessary thought Of why’s And how’s And what if’s And whatever Today Tomorrow And yesterday And beginnings And endings And tears, Tears, Lots of tears With the words I write I shatter pain And destroy hurt I gather consciousness collectively; culminating in a climatic cacophony of cosmic, cataclysmic candor That spills forth courageously Cascading Stumbling Falling Emerging casually from within I calmly count the minutes as they tick by towards my soft sweet sigh Of peace ……as that pen writes furiously In between the lines The lines The lines…. The lines swallow each word and digests them……gorging itself As they fulfill its cause Only to be regurgitated right back onto the next line And page And notebook Forever And On And After……
