Once upon a time I felt the beauty of an entangled existenceAs another body coated my soul With the sweat of true acceptanceIt soaked into my needy poresDisease infected through its absorptionConstantly intoxicated by new found spirituality
I was your PrincessAnd you Sir WERE MY PRINCEThe angel that saved you from a life of falsityWhere there had been darkG-d said "Let there be light"Your skin pressed against mine in a seemingly everlasting embraceThe drops of adoration I so desperately desiredSlowly become dilutedMixed with chemicals of sedationThat put my mind into a comatose state of surrender Digesting each piece of my realityReplacing it with the guilt, fear and depression of addictionSurviving for the rare samples of my short lived highs From which withdrawal always ensuedAt times seemingly fatalStill I felt the strength of legs entangleThe grip of your need to demean meTo suffocate my G-D given right to the pursuit of happinessYet, I required my fix
I found myself at rock bottomLicking anything that even resembled a glimpse of aweOff a floor filthy with belittlementRecovering nowMy limbs roam nakedAlways they shall yearnFor the drops of Jupiter they once tasted
