Took me some TIME to realize the lies when my eyes would cry and I
would try to hide what was on the inside when knowing I couldn't
survive if you didn't provide or try to deprive me of my right to LOVE
another brother cause you like no other would smother or try to
uncover what no other has discovered leaving me helplessly yet
not breathlessly surround sound yeah that's my freedom scream,
used to be a hopeless dream, dyin on my own scene, feelin like a
love fiend, hatin what my eyes had seen, missin what your lips would
sing, hurtin from the pain you bring, BUT "I" yes "I" still managed to
rise above to live and learn and respect tough love to be the girl I
always knew I was the one that believes in SELF LOVE
