I am an individual and I stand alone
all by myself no place to call home
Yeah looks can be deceiving cause physically I'm ok
Mentally and emotionally life is eating me away
I am very open-minded and I can easily comprehend
I just need someone to talk to I dont need any friends
Everybody is the same we just feel a little different
I'm tired of people talkin' it feels amazin' when you listen
I'm not a poet nor am I trying to be
I just feel like an artist who's truly blessed and unique
I.N.D.I.V.I.D.U.A.L
Iam an individual whether you like it or not
I stand alone no one can fill my spot
Whether you treat me like a queen I'm still gon' rise and shine
your words DO hurt me but i know you'll never find
Another person thats going to do the things i do and say the things i say
I am an individual who keeps a smile upon my face
You can take my freedom of speech you can even take my clothes
But you'll NEVER take me for granted and that I do know
So talk on people keep wasting ya breath
cause I LOVE ME and that requires no help

Good for you young lady! Yeah it can be a pain when all folk want to do is talk, never listening, and writing is a great way to get around that. You can tell your story, spill your heart out. Have a great day INDIVIDUAL

Words so deep and true, most people want to talk and almost none know how to listen, to know what makes you special is how you know yourself as a individual, not tainted by the lies of society, but if you ever need a set of ears that will not only listen but also understand, mine are always open ^_^

I loved this piece, it just touched me and brought out so many things I was feeling. We are all born capable of hearing but does any one truly listen or even learn to listen?
