I can't wait until this storm is over!
The thunder in it is so loud that my ears can't tell the
difference between its applause and the silence.
I can't see at times when the blinding lightning is on the loose
I become so shaky in my spirit that the right road is sometimes hard to choose
I can't wait until this storm is over!
When someday I'll be able to look back on the past and know that I've changed
To be happy that my life is in order, although things had to be rearranged
Why cry tears when this storm is producing enough rain
Even though it's difficult at times, try smiling through your pain
If I just stand still for a while and ride out this wave called a trial
The reward in the end will be tremendous to a heart that needs to smile!
