Solomon's wheel
Of a truth
man stubborn as he is
is continually engaged
in the reinvention
of the wheel of Solomon
which hath been
from understanding carved
and planted in the City of LIght
One man hath quarter piece
another possesses a third
and one holds a half wheel
unto none is the whole apportioned
man trifles with bits and pieces
when the whole exists before his time
The maker of the wheel
hath opened the belly of Jonah's whale
unselfish and overflowing with love
He makes of Solomon's wheel
understanding attainable to all
endowed with mysterious power
drawing all manner of man
Still man in his ignorance
strives by day
toils by night
to build anew Solomon's wheel
in the city neighbor to Babel
of completion uncertain
of destruction certain
Give me understanding
that I may govern they great people
was the simple request
granted in a dream
Every tool required by the blacksmith
sits waiting in the great forge
by God made
and to man offered
