Oberton & Sinclair’s Happy Ending
I’m finding it hard to write the words
That accurately say what they need too
Maybe it’s because of overtly complexed feelings
Or I may not have anything else to say about you.
We have this situation
That is, just as it was then
You trying to split yourself between two
Not wanting to subtract 1 to add the other, for fear of what may happen.
How long can you say that you love?
While deceiving and living two lives
I wish I had what I’ve almost got
But you’re her Dr. Jekyll and my Mr. Hide.
Your two persons on the same accord
But different desires won’t allow you to integrate as one
So what is it that your heart truly years?
I can’t say me; you can’t say her and wrong has already been done.
We shared a night of unadulterated entanglement
Looking at me as though you had the pleasure of calling it your own
But you left just as easily and you were welcomed
Go back and be the master of her domain and the king on her thrown.
Now 6 years later we are back at 1
With the chance to do what we should’ve before

There was a time before
Where I broke my heart to say goodbye
Because just like now you claimed you loved “hip-hop”
But were steadily living a lie.
