This world I’m living in is so unpredictable
How in the world can someone rob a person old enough to be your great grandma
Are times today truly that hard
People don’t want to work or even try to get a decent job
Every day I watch the news nothing amazes me
Mass murders, drug busts, and marriage of homosexuality
Its really confusing not amusing so sad to the bone
And this place called Memphis where Martin Luther King once called home
Is a disgrace for why he even marched, preached, or stood up for nonviolence at all
Domestic violence, homicide, suicide all on the rise
Where the beginning lackens depends on adding the belt to back sides
Not only loving your kids and family and showing them their special
Letting them know your there and they shouldn’t look for gangs in the worst season or weather
Keep them involved in church so they know whatever happens God is coming through
We are all God’s children and no matter what we encounter he will be there too
He will never leave your side no matter what you do
So don’t let go don’t lose faith read the word its true
