Eternal Optimist

I see golden sunbeams gazing patiently through magnificently stained glass,
pale moonlight peeking quietly upon luxuriously carpeted grass, and clouds that are purposely staged in a vivid blue sky

I hear raindrops that tiptoe gingerly atop welcoming tin roofs,
and water that teasingly caresses smooth polished stone

I smell the intoxicating aroma of magnolia blossoms hugging the air,
and the exotically sweet nectar of fruit playfully lingering in an orchard

I touch majestic oaks that reach to be kissed by the gentle whispering wind,
and flowers that willingly bloom from the earth’s thriving meadows

I sense the spiritual guidance of God’s ever compassionate benevolence,
and accept the gift of being swathe in eternal optimism

Why thank you very much my dear. I always appreciate feed back!!!

I wrote this one day when I wondered why I was able to motivate myself. And this poem was the result. I realized that through God we have motivation all around us, and I obviously used it unconsciously.........maybe.

This piece leaves a pleasant taste in my mouth after reading.  Especially since going through such a hard time in my life right now, I needed this fresh breath of air to bring balance to my thoughts of enjoying life and remembering that nature's beauty remains.
