Yo this is Dirtywork54, I'm gonna show something you ain't seen before.
A new type of Poetry for you and me, you can all play a part, as soon you will see.
I'm gonna write the first four verses, see if you can keep up without all the curses.
When you're done reading keep it going, you don't have to rhyme but keep it flowing.
Okay I said four but this is five, choose your own font, color and size.
This is the sixth verse so let's get this going, Who's up to the challange to keep this flowing?

I've participated in a similar piece
where we added a line or two, until we decided to cease
It's always a pleasure to join in on a group project
Especially one that uses the poets dialect
Thanks for beginning this new thread
And inviting others to forward it ahead

...Forwarding it ahead is a great idea
Im sure others would love how  this feel
You mentioned before no cursing allowed
that's cool with me, don't need that crowd
I'm anxious to read  how others will flow
These poets are amazing! just watch them go...

Thank you very much Poetressforever,
I think your comments are very clever.
MsPoeticg_2 welcome to my thread,
I also like the things you said.
You guys catch on pretty quick,
so tonight let's talk about politics.
I was surprised tonight during the debate,
John McCain seemed so full of hate.
He needs to cage the rage and stay on the issue,
or when he losses he'll need lots of tissue.
Barack Obama was cool, calm and collected,
Tell me is this what you expected?

Thanks again Dirtywork54

For opening up the collaborative door

And for thinking my words are clever

You got skills yourself, however

I can’t continue your request

I missed the debate, I must confess

Don’t like the way the media distorts and attempts to skew

Nor do I care for the “controlled debate” point of view

I’ve read the candidates platform

Even seen them both perform

No need for a third act

Or a reason to detract-

Me from what is really important

And clearly most significant

That is….man and state

Not the winner or the loser of the candidate’s debate

So I really didn’t expect anything

Just waiting for the outcome of this elections voting

I did not see the third debate

between the 2 presidential canidates

but I'd like to place my bet

that both parties argued the points to their best

ability

thrilling and smiling

while media across the country keeps a ticker

of the licks taken

rebuttles spoken

and issues questioned

who will win this tit for tat

God's plan will, I'm sure of that

...I did see  some of the third debate
came in on it though
a little late

Expected both canadates to do
their best
nothing more,nothing less.

Liked that Obama has kept
the issues in the forefront
especially now, they have less than
a month

Who will win? I'm not sure of that either
just have to wait and see
who will be our next leader

If you're going to vote
make sure you take note
of all the issues at hand

Not trying to be
judgemental
but choosing blindly
is detrimental
for all of us for the next four years

Well I sure hope that there is something more to add to this thread

Beside politics and political heads

Maybe we can generate another topic of conversation

How about the financial decline of our nation?

Maybe even how death and destruction is on every news station?

If it were up to me; we’d talk about kindness and understanding

Acceptance of one another and less branding

Cultural intermingling

And stop the prejudicial singling –

Out of those different than you

But no one ever wants to really talk these through

It’s either too personal or not politically correct

To be the topics that we choose to inspect

So let’s talk about the weather

Yesterday's was better

And tomorrow it’s supposed to be cold

That’s about the safest conversation we can hold

Greetings friends and fellow poets,
Dirtywork54 is back on the scene.

Been gone for a while but now I'm back,
I agree, let's forget the TV screen.

Poetressforever has stated her case,
and changed the subject with Amazing Grace.

Let's get off Election Politics  for a while,
and focus on the "Elements of Style."

This two line style of poetry is Elementary
let's see something ground breaking and 21st Century.

Someone Please show me something new,
something experessive we all can do.

Like using letters and numbers to make U'r point,
like (2 much TV n x s,) or (I C U been smok-n a C re us joint.)

I'm a different kind of poet, I gave U a Cue,
Now let's C if  U'r  Wit-It, sho me U R 1 2.
