I have always been in the dark struggling
To know why most women will go only
For accomplished men who have cars in
Garages all ready for a comfortable ride
Letting go those who could have been their gold
Blindly only seeing the filth and never the shine
Beneath that filth that could be patiently polished
Obtaining a shine that glows like the rays of the sun
Women go for vanity leaving behind the substance
Most have chosen husbands because of their swollen
Pockets hoping to be benefactors when they pass on
Life ceases to have meaning when those we love and
Cherish only come looking after material gain
Can we once more redefine our relationships?
We are like unpolished gem that comes out diamond
When finely shined and polished to glow
The filthiness of yesterday buried with a new shine
Every ugly past pushed to the background and forgotten
Men and women should go learn from mother nature
Accepting to do polishing so as to obtain what we desire
