Two Planets Collide
Guided only by the distinctive sound of your breathing
I search the moonlight
Longing to taste you
I fly closer to the sky than ever
As I gingerly sip at the juices
Flowing from the divine cup
-Tis it a wonder
That I can’t find another to set my soul afire?
For only to you - do I proffer the kiss of nectar
That was once offered to the Gods
In my haste to reside within
I carve tattoos of painful pleasure
Along your back and thighs
I watch you depart the clouds
As you gather momentum
Soaring into an heated frenzy
-Tis it a wonder
That I allow you to take all that you desire?
For only to you - do I surrender the throne
That was once worshiped by Kings
In the course of this passion
As our joining collides
Cataclysmic events create our undoing
Our universes swell and expand
As intertwining bodies collect residue
From exploding galaxies
-‘Twas rougher than ever to fall back to earth
And lie beside your planet
Without wanting to touch its stratosphere
Again… and again…and again..
