Good-evening PS Fam,
A few years ago it was BlackPlanet, and now all my black folk have found there way to MySpace.com... Is this a good or bad thing? Shouldn't we be doing more then visiting friends/relatives and so on members pages? What does that say of us as a people?
Is that all we are good for while ONLINE??

I think like anything else, moderation is the key. There is nothing wrong with MySpace per se as long as you are not spending your life there. That holds true for any web site.

IN MY OPINION... THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MYSPACE . I HAVE A MYSPACE PAGE MYSELF BECAUSE MOST OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS HAVE ONE AND THATS HOW WE KEEP IN CONTACT.... I DON'T GET TO SEE MY FAM ALOT BECAUSE WE STAY SO FAR APART......I JUST DON'T GET SUCKED IN TO BEING OL ALL DAY WITH IT.... I HAVE 3 MAJOR PAGES MS,DL AND PS........ EITHER WAY MY PEEPS CAN HIT ME UP...

myspace is both good and bad, it can make or destroy you, personally I didnt even sign up for it, my friend did, i only go on it like 2-3 times a month, there is no reason really to go on it more then once a week, i mean hell if they wanna talk to each other that much online get a dang messenger or something lol, also all those petaphiles on there and stuff, its sicking, 13 year old girls flashing themselves online giving it up to the first person to message her? how in the name of all things sacred and moral can you tell me thats ok???, myspace should only be available for those 18+ or at least have some major filtering, and banning going on there, sorry about the rant but this sht makes me want to throw up and crash all of myspace's servers, that way all that filth can just dissapear.....anyway........hows life treating everyone ^_^

I LOVE MYSPACE I HAVE A PAGE THERE AS WELL, GOOD FOR NETWORKING,AND WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOT THIS SITE,ANS SAW MY MYSPACE,I JUMPED RIGHT ON IT...JUST GOT A WORK IT FOR YOU, WE DO GET BORED SOMETIMES WE GET ON THE COMP...SO WE CAN RUN INTO A LOT OF GGOD THINGS.

Yes sista MzsterysSoulDreams... Everyone seems to want to SPAM!! Gladly post 3-4 bullentins per day... You have poets adding people just so they can promote their book/cd, etc... Not much networking going on in my eyes...

I dont even have a myspace page because personally i feel like i am different and i dont exploit all of my business out....i mean whats the point really...i dont c how ppl can sit down and write about their lifes problem and then go on myspace and be nosy..its pointless

i think it is ok to have a myspace,depending what u have it for. i have a page because my son made one for me- i knew nothing about how myspace until he told me. i eventuallylearned how to put my own stuff on there- i monitor his page also-go on his page using his user id name & password to check up on things-i told him i am to always have his password-and the minute he had aproblem wit me goin on his page he would not have the account anymore-so all in all i believe it ok for ppl-just not no sick ppl or ppl who do wrong on it...
