Good-afternoon PS Fam,
As all know this art form which is known as poetry has expanded... Yes spoken word in itself has a large following... So I'm wondering has anyone ever spit via the MIC? Live on stage or in front of a crowd?

Hey what's up,
Yes I have been performing on the mic for around like 4 years now. I have been writing for like over 12 years though. I have a few clips that I will place in my profile after I get things going. I Love to travel to new places and put on shows.

Yes I have been on the mic for 10 years, I have done slams at the House Of Blues in New Orleans as well as The Hard Rock Cafe... But I am sad to say that I have not touched the stage since "Katrina"... Hopefully I will find a home to share my poetry but as of now I'm still looking!!

been writing poetry for over 10 years, been on stage for over 8, recorded 5 cd's, been in slams, was just in DC and had the worst performance ever!....but i still love this.

I Love Spoken Word!!! My church- The Soul Factory under Deron Cloud.... which is located in Stone Mtn, GA and another location in Maryland does an Open Mic once a month called Hyroglificks!!! Some of the talent that comes through are "dope"! Occasionally, BET Def Poet Jam Artists would come through and spit FIRE.
To answer the question, NO I havent spit on the MIC....I actually wrote a piece (which is not completed) to spit! Once I finish it up, I will get up there and do my thang!!!
