To The Unbeaten Self

Inside is a strength stronger than you

Guiding you courageously through,

Taunting and teasing

Looks and sneers

No one realizes that you have no fear

…not of them at least

The y mean nothing to you

Just a bump in the road of your existence

To their pushes and shoves you offer no resistance.

For you are supreme

Above and beyond their dreams,

…of a cookie cutter life

You don’t conform

Do not need to

For you are the blueprint of a self so true

Need no praise

Or pat on the back

Confidence in self you do not lack

And you feel sorry - for the judgers and the nay-sayers

For they know not what they’ve lost

Or what their ignorance cost…

Because a chance to know you would have been divine

Too late now, for you’ve left them all behind

i'm feeling this as more people need to look within instead of allowing others to control thy actions, etc... glad to know u are confident and willing to stay true to self... continue on thy life journey as those who are truly worthy shall remain thy friend, etc...
