Some of my old "LOVE" Poems
Posted On 03/28/08 @ 11:11 AM

All I Remember

You're leading and I'm following
Just like husband and wife, huh?
I find serenity in your arms
Somehow I'll never get enough

Our lips moved together
For about three minuites long
But not how you think
It's because we both knew the song

Both gliding and parading
On cascades of clouds
All the while, trying to be quiet
Hoping you wouldn't hear my thoughts out loud

Were there people around?
Well maybe a few
But all I remember
Is slow-dancing with you

Lips

A continuous line of perfection
The pout can be seen from every angle
He stares at them as if they were his mid-day snack
Delicious and satisfying

Our Music Speaks

You are my bass line
The foundation for my life's melody
The beating of my heart
matches the sound of your drum
Can you feel the rhythm between us?
Your voice is my lullaby
Sweet dreams of our harmony
When we come together as one
As we finish this cadence
We begin  our song
One of the Greatest hits of all time

Poor Love

All motion around me starts to slow down
Because your eyes became locked with mine
The word "love" was never said but we both know it's there
My heart's all a'flutter inside

A poor man is he
Without a penny to spare
A girl with a peice of paper and a pen, I am
But whatever's mine I'll share

My palms are empty, you see?
As he reached out his hand
Nothing at all
For I am just a humble man

With a smile on my face and a dream in my head
And for this I know and are sure
Put my hand in your hand
And it won't be empty anymore

I wrote these about 6 years ago. At that time I had just lost my mom and my boyfriend All at the same time...But I still had love in my heart to write these poems. That's nothin but God's love in me.
