(Families In Crisis/Hear Them) The Children Speaks Our Mommies are crying while Daddies are dying drug overdose, jail and stuff Let The Children Speak We kids are sad cause Mommies mad it's all so confusing, Just Let The Children Speak She says she loves us, but go away Are we to go or can we stay? Won't someone please Let The Children Speak She says silence, we're not allowed to cry She keeps hitting us; we don't understand why, Please won't anyone Let The Children Speak Momma couldn't see her way clear that's why shes no longer here, It's dark; we're cold, hungry and in fear Please oh please Let The Children Speak We kids don't go to school; don't have any house rules hanging out with other fools Time to Let The Children Speak Drugs, gangs and guns around everyday Thank God for grandma who taught us to pray, because God always hears what we say He lets the children speak

(worked with families in crisis, want their voices to be heard) Ms. Lucy New Home Does anyone know where she's gone? I hope Ms. Lucy's not all alone It started when she lost her job, never knew life could be so hard A single Mom, three children to raise, the state came in, caseworker out of phase They placed her children in Foster Care It was more than she could bare, She had no place to lay her head, Shelter to shelter after a bed, Hitched to church crying, "Help me please!" Preacher said, "Sorry, lifes not a breeze." Resting her tired body on a bench in the park Her life was stolen that night in the dark, No need to worry, she's not alone Ms. Lucy has a permanant home. There's many of her in the world today I hope others will hear what they have to say.

Walking on the beach of soothing sand pebbles dazzing diamond chips hurriedly ridding my shoes to pamper my feet sensations of warmth beaming from a blazing sun, water crystal clear illusion as stained glass aqua blue, tranquil, uninterrupted A raging tide forces herself to roll in as I walk out into the deep and deeper a gigantic sunken bed of bubbling waters spilling beneath my feet, No place on earth could compare to such beauty, finally, deciding to return to the beach of soothibg sand pebbles dazzing diamond chips looking to my right, My left, all around all I could see, were streets of gold

Eyes to see though we may be blind ears to hear though we may be deaf mouths to speak though we may be mute We have hold-able hands that may seem un-embraceable feet with no direction taken yet, Grandma's wisdom, Our existence has been established We are purposed to look down on others Only while lifting them up
