On the phone with you

and my 1 thought was God allow time to stand still

just this once

 because it seemed like it never moved forward

and I never knew  laughter

 at this much enjoyment

Poetry truly in motion writing me a love poem

But before it was recited

It warned me

 You Have 1 Chance

1 chance to make his spark a full flame

1 chance to know the wits Instead of his games

1 chance to understand love

and realize why people say it can happen within 1sight

 but in this case all it took was 1 poem

 I poem that read you have 1 chance

Because He

wanted to open up the secrets of my mind

and tip toe his way into my heart  

to start rebuilding that thing that was once torn apart.

And he only asked if he could have 1 chance

1 chance to write 1 poem and entitle it 1 Love

Then devoted it to 1 heart   

 So the poem reads:

I don't know but I'm glad time is finally in my favor

By sending you to me and now together

You and me can make a we

But that's only if you want it to be

And if you and me would become we

 Then together Hurt would not be in our relationship

Meaning Pain would not be in our terms  

And my Love for you would be true

no matter how hard it rains

Cause finally the Sun can shine

Cause You see your poetry gave me not only a Poet's opinion of you

 But that of a Lovers as well and you could be my lovers' addiction

In which I may never recover

And That Comes from the Heart of a Man

You've shown me a lot in the past couple of hours on the phone

so now I'm wondering can she give love like her words do

And if so then I'm willing and determined to listen

and I asked myself If I was to show her love would she watch

and she replies after reading the poem
