Wheat his brother corn
Posted On 09/19/08 @ 10:49 PM

Wheat his brother corn
Two never important save these
Wheat his brother corn
Inventors of civilization
Wheat his brother corn
Patent holders to stability

Wheat his brother corn
Native to all lands
Wheat his brother corn
From no one stomach alienated

Wheat his brother corn
Between them is bread trapped
Wheat his brother corn
They came The tongue They conquered

Wheat his brother corn
Insignificant ubiquitous indispensable
Wheat his brother corn
Sprinkled on earth by God

When I was little
Posted On 05/15/08 @ 09:59 AM

When I was little (One)

When  I was little
I asked who made God
They told me not to ask
Because my mind would run a way
And so I asked no more

Now that I am bigger
I know who made God
The world made God
 And God made the world
My mind is still here

Pain-Persuasive

Pain-Persuasive

I am pain-persuasive
I come to persuade
Those hard of hearing
I am sent to torment
My mission is simple
My remit is clear
my methods are overt
My object is to engender change
in those who cling to error
I am pain-persuasive
I by
constant hardship
continuous error
irrepressible hurt
unstoppable disaster
frequent anguish
abiding pain
persuade all I encounter
instruct whom I befriend
their ways to amend
Pain-persuasive is my name
I achieve my objective
When the anguished determine
to reject that to which they cleave
to give up the path governed by pain
and choose to make amends
with I pain-persuasive
I complete the work
of him that sent me
when man finally realizes
That
pain-unknown
Pales
compared with pain-present
I am pain-persuasive

I see Heaven when it snows
Posted On 04/04/08 @ 10:33 AM

I see Heaven when it snows

Brightly white brightest shining

nature's own carpet from heaven dropped
whiter than whiteness
pristine pure purified perfect
God's metaphor to erode sin
denuded trees surrender to cold visitation
standing stark silent in darkened salute
nature goes into hibernation
sleep wrought by rejuvenation
when its' arrival is broadcast
bits and bytes of whiteness
majestic unhurried serene lackadaisical langorous
descending as regal grains of sweetness
submerging obliterating all
removing obstacles dissappearing stars
on nights absented by the moon
skies bereft of light
I look with subdued awe
and see the heavenlies reflected on earth
and declare solemn
I see Heaven when it snows

Barbarians in the door

Barbarians in the door: The abomination of desolation

I thought the barbarians long made their exit
eons ago, in times past
but they persist
like the roots of a menaced bamboo tree
uninvited they creep in at will
at other times they barge through the door
brazen bold uninvited
they upend barricades
and infiltrate the wind
the response from a nasty fellow
a vandal representative of terror native
when innocently I enquired
whence they came
why they remained
was simply simple
'we shall always be'
we are meant to be'
'nothing created in heaven'
'or on earth fabricated'
'can promote our retreat;
'we are the barbarians of thought'
'all that requires our summons'
'is the elevation of fear and doubt'
'we habituate eternal'
'the deep recesses of mind'
'there we are welcome'
'entertained beyond measure'
'pampered like regents'
'fawned over like silken threads of gold'
'we reside eternal'
'in the fertile mind of man'
'and remain ensconced permanent'

Fear not, all is not lost
I know what the barbarians know
I tell only those who hear
'tis possible to overthrow their kingdom
beneath the veneer of arrogant invisibility
abides fear timid
same their advent
same their departure
thought is their lubricant
thought their demise shall be
I know what the barbarians know
I tell only those who hear
Think Well
Think Good
Think One
Think God
on things of good report
Dwell ye unshook
the barbarians know I know
the barbarians see I see
Think on things above

A mighty oak tree

There it stood
silhoutted against the skyline
lifeless drab in the winter
gallant promiscuous bold in spring
a mighty oak tree
cohered to earth by roots adventitious
strangling gripping choking instability

unshakeable unmoveable indomitable

mighty foreboding grim

A cantankerous posse of geese
wings its way furious from the east
in tumultuous flight to sanctuary
by a malicious storm pursued
pausing momentarily atop the oak tree
they pronounce with gleeful dread
a storm baleful and disagreeable
boisterous and powerful
unlike any heretofore witnessed
slues a path destructive
towards the mighty oak
the great tree of trees abides unshaken
buoyant umnoved unperturbed
awaits the storm's vicious approach
sudden and turbulent is the embrace
storm and tree kiss and wrestle
a titanic struggle ensues
denuded twisted shaken bruised
the mighty oak stands upright
testament to truth simple

Enter a gang of ornery woodcutters
espying the signature oak from afar
approach with the imprimatur of havoc
honed tools glisten with simple intent
render to the tree the tribute of Caesar
normal, moral their avocation beckons
they environ the great tree axes at the ready
branches fall, thick and small
leaves descend fast and dense
soon the brave tree bids farewell
remnant trunk stunted and humbled
still the mighty oak remains aground
testament to truth ordinary

Time's generation marches on
day after day night following night
then the great oak sighs
and puts forth branches anew
lateral vertical bypassing nodes long dead
sprouting life in rampant organization
patient gradual unseen unbowed redolent
until one day the indomitable oak uprises
surpassing his stature of days adrift
wherefore camest thou O tree
the oak responds triumphant
I came forth from the Land of Faith
my name is Belief most redoubtable
I am testament to Imagination
